Cheesy Sun Crisps

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 3 tbsps water
  • a cu of all purpose flour
  • a pinch of fine salt
  • 1 cup quick oatmeal
  • 2/3 cup roasted salted sunflower seeds

Procedure:
  1. Beat cheeses, margarine & water in a bowl until blended. Mix in flour & salt. Stir in oats and sunflower seeds until combined.
  2. Shape into a 12" long log. Wrap securely. Refrigerate for 4 hours or up to a week.
  3. Preheat oven to 400 Fahrenheit. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Set aside.
  4. Cut log into 1/8" thin slices. Flatten slightly. Place on cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
  5. Remove immediately and cool on wire rack.
