Steamed Oriental Fish

Ingredients:
  • 500 grams lapu-lapu 
  • ginger
  • spring onions 
  • lemon 
  • sesame oil
Sauce:
  • 1/2 t minced onion
  • 1 T yellow taosi, mashed
  • 1 T soy sauce
  • 3 T water 
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1 t rice wine 
  • 1/2 t sesame oil
  • coriander leave
Procedure
  1. Make at least 3 slits on the body of the fish. Insert the spring onions and ginger into the slits and the body. Sprinkle with lemon and sesame oil. Wrap with Reynolds Wrap Aluminum foil. Steam for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.
  2. To make the sauce: Put all the sauce ingredients in a small sauce pan and heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. To serve: Top the fish with chopped green onions and coriander leaves. Pour the hot sauce over the fish and serve immediately.
