Ham Luncheon Meat Pasta Montanara

Ingredients:
Cook pasta as directed in the package. Set aside.
In a saucepan, simmer together white wine and chicken stock. Add milk, cream cheese and tomato paste. Whisk until smooth.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Saute onions, Argentina Ham Luncheon Meat, mushrooms, sage and thyme for about 2-3 minutes. Pour white wine and cream cheese sauce. Add cooked pasta, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Cook for another 3 minutes, tossing it well. Top with parsley then transfer to a serving platter. Serve immediately.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
- 400 to 450 grams pasta of choice - penne, fusilli or elbow macaroni
- 1/2 cup white wine

- 1-8 ounce package cream cheese
- 1/4 cup tomato paste

- 2 (225 grams) cans Ham Luncheon Meat - cut into strips

- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
