Chicken Cajun Pasta

Ingredients:
2 pc chicken breast fillet, cut into strips
Cajun Seasoning:
2 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp paprika
Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
¼ cup red bell pepper, cut into strips
¼ cup green bell pepper, cut into strips
½ cup honeycured bacon
½ cup mushrooms
1 cup crushed canned tomatoes
2 tbsp green onions, chopped
1 cup all-purpose cream
120 gm linguine or spaghetti, cooked according to package directions
¼ cup cheddar cheese, grated
Procedure:
1. Combine all Cajun seasoning ingredients. Marinate chicken. Set aside.
2. In a medium pan, melt butter then sauté bell peppers, bacon, mushrooms and chicken strips and let cook for 2 minutes.
3. Add tomatoes and onions.
4. Lower heat, add all purpose cream. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
5. Top pasta with the sauce. Serve with grated cheese on top.
