Polish Sausage Pepper Pot Recipe

Ingredients:
2 lb. Polish sausage (cut in serving size pieces)
1 tbsp. bacon drippings
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 head cabbage, sliced
8 oz. mushrooms
1 tsp. caraway seed
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. coarsely ground pepper corns
1/2 c. boiling water
Direction:
Add sausage to bacon drippings and brown. Remove sausage and add onions, cabbage and other ingredients. Add water, stir to combine. Place sausage on top of vegetables, cover tightly and cook slowly 15-20 minutes or until cabbage is done.
