Pan-Fried .Salmon with Cheesy Dill Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 4 salmon steaks
  • oil for frying
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
For the sauce:
  • 1 tablespoon butter 
  • half an onion, chopped 
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose cream
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated 
  • salt and pepper to taste 
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill 
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Procedure
  1. In a pan, heat oil and unsalted butter. Pan-fry salmon steaks until cooked. Pat with paper towels to remove excess oil. Set aside.
  2.  Make the sauce: Heat butter in a pan. Saute onions until translucent. Add all-purpose cream and cheese; stir continuously until cheese is completely melted. Season with salt and pepper. Add dill and thyme. Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3.  Pour sauce over salmon and serve immediately.
