Tangy Tomato Soup

Put a twist into yesterday's dish. Perfect on a rainy day, this hearty soup needs only a couple of minutes before it's ready to serve.

Ingredients:
  • eggplant/onggan/sa sauce from Eggplant-Longganisa Pasta 
  • 1 cup beef broth 
  • 1/2 can crushed tomatoes 
  • 1 medium carrot, diced 
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced 
  • 1 can Vienna sausage, sliced 
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce 
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme 
  • salt and pepper to taste
Procedure
  1.  Combine the first five ingredients and boil.
  2.  When vegetables are cooked, add the remaining ingredients and boil. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
  3.  Serve with your favorite bread.
