Taco Pie Tortilla

Ingredients:
  • 1-1 1/4 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 1 1/2-2 c. crushed (Frito) corn chips
  • 1 c. dairy sour cream
  • 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
  • Tortilla chips or Doritos (optional)
Procedure

Lightly brown beef; drain off grease. Stir in seasoning mix and water; simmer 5 minutes. Separate rolls into 8 triangles. Place triangles in ungreased 10-inch pie plate. Press to form the crust. Sprinkle 1 cup crushed corn chips over bottom of crust.

Spoon meat mixture over crust and chips. Spread the sour cream over meat layer. Cover this with shredded cheese. Sprinkle remaining corn chips on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
