Cheese Straws Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 2/3 c. sifted flour
  • A dash of red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions:

Mix ingredients together well. Roll thin and cut in narrow strips. Bake strips in a slow oven, 275 degrees until light brown. Makes about 4 dozen.
