Microwave Crab Canapes

Ingredients:

  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can crab meat
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp. finely diced onion
  • 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. white horseradish
  • 1 tsp. tomato catsup
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 20 Melba crackers or toasted bread squares
Directions:

In glass mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except Melba crackers or bread squares; mix well. Heap slightly less than a tablespoon of mixture onto each cracker or bread square. Place on glass tray lined with paper towel or doily. Cover; cook on roast (7) for 1 1/2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Garnish as desired. (Use 13"x9" glass baking dish.) Yield: 20 appetizers.
